Job Description Summary: Support Talent objectives by providing expertise and guidance to help ensure positive employee relationships and a healthy work environment, foster effective communication and address employee performance concerns.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Demonstrated ability to perform Solutions responsibilities Act as primary point of contact for addressing employee relations issues including conflicts, performance concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process Provide guidance and support to managers, supervisors, and Talent Partners in resolving employee relations issues effectively and in compliance with policies and procedures Collaborate with Talent Partners and management teams to ensure fair and consistent performance management practices Provide coaching and guidance to mangers on handling performance issues, including performance improvement documents/process and disciplinary actions Partner with HR Center of Expertise team members to develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies and policies that align with the Company's objectives and legal requirements Assist in regularly reviewing and updating of existing policies to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and best practices Collaborate with HR Center of Expertise and Talent Partners to establish clear guidelines and procedures for handling employee relations matters Foster a positive and open work environment through effective communication channels and relationships to promote employee engagement Proactively address communication gaps to mitigate conflict and potential performance challenges Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and industry trends related to employee relations and proactively ensure the Company's understanding and compliance Advise and educate management on legal implications and risks associated with employee relations decisions and actions Collaborate with legal counsel and senior leadership as necessary to address complex or high-risk employee relations matters Provide support and guidance to managers on all involuntary terminations, including risk assessment, process and/or practice recommendations, and participation in separation meetings Provide guidance in navigating complex employee-related processes (e.g., ADA accommodation, Leave of Absence, Substance Abuse Testing complications, etc.) Partner with leadership and Talent Partners as appropriate to facilitate complex employee-related situations and transactions Provide crisis management support when necessary, partnering with other Shared Services response teams Cultivate strong relationships with internal company leadership, operations, and project teams Recommend new approaches and strategies to support continuous improvements in efficiency of department and services provided Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as accountability for work product, deadlines, and coordinating responses in an effective and timely manner Complete other responsibilities as requested

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent work experience in Human Resources field Minimum 5 years business and Human Resource experience HR Professional Certification, or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the Company Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws Working knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures best practices Working knowledge of construction business Demonstrated experience in conducting workplace investigations and handling employee concerns/complaints Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with HCM systems Demonst ated ability to work independently, handle confidential information with discretion, and manage multiple priorities Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Compensation Range Annual Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
