The Facilities Water Services Maintenance Supervisor at Micron Technology, Inc. is responsible for managing and developing technicians that are responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of site wide ultrapure water, water, ground water and reclaim systems in the ID1 high volume manufacturing fab. Scope includes the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment for the ultra-pure water systems.

Area/Technical Performance:

Maintains applicable subject area and technical knowledge to make informed decisions and drive area improvements

Ensure team maintains required certifications and training to perform area tasks

Ensures team completes assigned PMs and work orders in a timely and thorough manner

Ensures team maintains equipment and tools in working order

Assists with installation, modification, maintenance and/or removal of facilities equipment

Develops procedures and training to ensure team performs the work safely, correctly and consistently.

Accountable for the area/shift performance and drives team accountability

Monitors equipment and area performance to resolve issues and improve area stability

Ensures team identifies and reduces equipment defects to improve quality

Uses a systematic problem-solving technique to resolve issues in a timely manner Ensures team identifies and resolves chronic equipment alarm issues

Identifies and leads projects to improve area and equipment performance Assigns team members new assignments

Leads shift/area cost reduction activities

Ability and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts with a shift rotation every 4 months.

Drives a culture of Safety and Quality including TPM, Facilities Disciplines, PM procedures and certifications

Education and Experience:

Required: Minimum – Relevant degree, appropriate certifications/licensing, or 2 years of related experience, and 1 year of supervisory experience

Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s Degree with one year of supervisory experience and 3 years of technical experience.
