Oracle Senior Product Manager: US Payroll Solution in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience. Product Manager Role

NetSuite SuitePeople Product Managers are part of a world-wide team pursuing

innovative ways of delivering user-centered solutions that provide real value to our

customer base. We balance competing product demands to make investment

decisions between new features, product enhancements, and sustainability

initiatives. We are highly motivated professionals responsible for managing the product

lifecycle of cloud business applications and infrastructure created for small to medium-

sized businesses.

As the Product Manager, you will work closely with product management leadership, business stakeholders, customers and the development team to drive the design and development of our US Payroll solution.

You will be involved in all parts of the product lifecycle; researching business problems, compliance analysis, creating and managing backlogs, making decisions on daily development tasks as well as product release activities. You will also be responsible for juggling between new feature enhancements and customer defects to ensure we continuously deliver value to our customers

Responsibilities

Your work will include collaborating with product management leadership, technical teams and other stakeholders to enhance and maintain our US Payroll product.

• Define business/compliance requirements and use cases based on customer input, research and product strategy

• Research, analyze, and document regulatory changes to ensure that our product offerings and compliance reports are up to date

• Clear definition and prioritization of high-level business requirements, as well as detailed features and user stories

• Work with the development team, through agile methodologies, to deliver quality software and resolve customer defects in a timely manner

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the team’s feature backlog, designs and implementation is aligned with product roadmaps and strategy

• Ensure feature releases are planned, documented, and shared as appropriate

· Collaborate with product management to create roadmaps

· Conduct market and competitive research as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an understanding of Business

• 5+ years in HR/Payroll Technology industry

• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment

Required Experience:

o US/EMEA Payroll & Compliance

o Previous experience with Payroll systems

o 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager

• Desired Experience: Knowledge of Benefits, Time, and HR is also beneficial

• Previous experience interacting with customers, requirements gathering and analysis

• Good communication and presentation skills
