Position Description:

Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Process Information Technology purchase orders for daily operations, formal/informal bids, sole Source, and multi-year contracts PO's.

  • Accounts payable duties for the department including payment of invoices, tracking receipt of goods and services, entering receipt information in TechBuy, keeping records of PO’s for the Information Technology Dept.

  • Review and resolve Accounts Payable invoicing and billing issues and discrepancies.

  • Manage the purchasing & payables records of the department financial database-the internal on-line database to track area spending.

  • Reviews, monitors and reconciles billing for IT projects and IT Service accounts.

  • Prepare budget revisions to adjust the expense budget within a fund, to budget from fund balance, to change a revenue budget, or to transfer budget between funds.

  • Assist with department epafs, eops, and personnel documentation processes. As needed.

  • Manage division procurement card records according to institutional & division requirements.

  • Supports the F&A Director to ensure processes are streamlined for the procurement billing and invoice payment process.

  • Assist F&A director and Lead Analyst with budget prep process.

  • Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.

  • Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in financial management processes and practices such as purchasing, budgeting, accounts payable, cost allocations, chargebacks, costing of services, and capital and expense handling.
