The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Health Resources Division. This position has oversight of the Montana Medicaid, Montana Medicaid Expansion, Healthy Montana Kids, Home Infusion Therapy, Pharmacy, and Drug Rebate programs. This position is responsible for directing and performing section program operational activities, including administrative rules, state plan amendments or waivers, communications, contract and project management, policy development, public, stakeholder, and interagency relations, systems development and maintenance, state and federal reporting, grievance resolution, receivable and allocation of drug rebate funds, consultation, technical assistance, etc. to ensure organizational goals are met and program activities comply with applicable state and federal regulations. * * Why Join DPHHS * * Our mission at DPHHS is to serve Montanans in their communities to improve and protect the health, safety, and well-being, and to empower independence. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Knowledge of pharmacy benefit programs and their related laws and regulations. * Knowledge of social and medical service delivery and reimbursement systems. * General knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and management principles. * Ability to research and interpret federal and state legislation, regulations, and guidelines. * Knowledge of personnel management. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in public administration, Health or Medical related Business or Human Services related field. o Five years of progressively responsible experience that includes program planning and administration. o Three years of Medicaid, pharmacy, or other health care related program experience. o Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
