Antech Diagnostics Quality Assurance Manager Europe in Leverkusen, Germany

Job Requirements

Due to continued growth, Antech Diagnostics are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the day-to-day QA operations across Europe.

Coming from a diagnostic laboratory background, you will utilise your knowledge and expertise to formulate, document and implement QA practices and ensure the company is meeting it’s defined quality objectives. Your leadership skills will help shape the department and provide coaching and training to new and existing QA associates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance department for Europe.

  • Provide coaching and training to new and existing Quality Assurance associates.

  • Focus on problem management/resolution, technical aspects of testing and instrumentation, quality assurance standards and practices, and other functions pertaining to QA.

  • Establish, review, trend and analyze KPI data to support continuous quality improvement.

  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams and projects representing quality.

  • Maintain, enforce and manage a compliant and effective QMS.

  • Participate in external audits and perform internal audits to ensure compliance with all internal and external quality requirements.

  • Establish and monitor a harmonized external proficiency program.

  • Participate in the establishment, review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Prepare weekly management reports for department productivity and quality matrixes.

  • Lead and mentor direct reports and remote teams to ensure professional development and performance.

Work Experience

  • BSc/MSc within the life sciences industry.

  • Proven diagnostic laboratory experience, preferably veterinary.

  • Proven managerial/leadership experience within a QA role.

  • Strong familiarity and experience with DAkks and ISO17025 regulatory requirements.

  • Ideagen Q-Pulse knowledge preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, negotiation and problem solving skills.

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and deliver award winning client support solutions.

  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on and dive into the detail, to meet revenue, quality and budgetary goals.

  • Adept with common industry performance indicators for quality assurance, technology trends and developments.

  • Fluency in the English and German required.

  • Proficiency/fluency in French, Spanish, Italian, and/or Portuguese preferred.
