Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer II for our non-profit client off the Pacific Coast Highway.. The successful candidate will support and maintain a robust, multi-location local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, ensuring the communication, connectivity, and data needs of our community are met. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and security of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems, Network, and Resource Management: Plan, design, test, evaluate, implement, integrate, and validate network systems and services. Maintain written procedures and policies, configure and maintain network devices, and ensure compliance with security protocols.

• Training and Support: Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting. Create and update documentation, resolve trouble tickets and service requests, and participate in a rotating "on call" schedule.

• Project Management: Participate in project teams for network systems and services. Estimate resources, report project statuses, and use project management software.

• Communication and Relationships: Collaborate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, develop strong partnerships, and maintain trust within the community.

• Administration: Submit timely paperwork and processes, including status reports and timesheets.

• Collaboration: Provide backup support, collaborate on projects, and share process information.

• Professional Development: Attend training sessions, conferences, and seminars to stay current with industry trends.

• Committees and Beyond Job Duties: Volunteer for tasks that stretch capabilities and serve on various committees.

Requirements

Top Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of network support experience.

TCP/IP experience.

CCNA certification or equivalent experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
