Overview

What you can expect from this role
This entry-level apprenticeship position requires no prior MA experience and offers orientation, education and training to the role of a CMA.
This program includes classroom instructions, continuing education, study time and hands-on orientation in the clinics with direct patient care.
Upon completion of the program, participants will sit for a credentialing exam and become eligible for a CMA role.
Commitment to a one-year term in a CMA role post-program completion is required.
The program duration is approximately 7-8 months.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
A minimum of six (6) months of healthcare experience, including but not limited to: Patient Specialist, CNA, phlebotomy, EMT, dental assisting, pharmacy tech, etc.
Direct patient care experience preferred
