Aerotek Test Technician - 28-38/HR in Meridian, Idaho

We are looking for a driven, reliable, and experienced Test Technicians to join our team at one of the nations most impactful providers of electronic components.

Description:

  • Hand soldering of through hole and SMT components

  • Understand and able to debug RF circuitry

  • Read schematics

  • Identify electrical components and know their function

  • Use of Digital Multi Meters, frequency counters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators

  • Operating windows, programming software, J-TAG, Xilinx, ect…

  • Hand soldering of through hole and SMT components. SMT components down to 0402 sizes.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $28-$38/HR depending on experience

Shift:

  • 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 year AA , military, or equivalent electronics education.

  2. Over 5 years of printed circuit board debug experience to the component level.

  3. Understand and able to debug RF circuitry.

  4. Must be able to read schematics.

  5. Must be able to identify electrical components and know their function.

  6. Experience using Digital Multi Meters, frequency counters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators.

  7. Computer knowledge with windows, programming software, J-TAG, Xilinx, ect…

  8. In-circuit/Flying Probe test and debug experience, (HP3070, Genrad, Teradine, Spea)

  9. Functional/bench test experience.

  10. Hand soldering of through hole and SMT components. SMT components down to 0402 sizes.

  11. Communication skills, verbal and written. Writing test documents/procedures.
