NOTICE OF PROFESSIONAL STAFF VACANCY
POSITION SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
1.0 FTE, 2 positions
STARTING DATE August 22, 2023
New to the District certified staff will have one paid day of training on August 21, 2023.
SALARY SCHEDULE Teachers Salary Schedule is available on the District website.
MAJOR Provide appropriate individualized programs of therapy to students with speech and
RESPONSIBILITIES language needs. Evaluate students for possible speech, voice, and/or language
impairments. Collaborate and consult with teachers and staff. Complete paperwork.
Supervise instructional assistant paraprofessional staff.
REQUIRED Must hold or meet minimum requirements for an Idaho Pupil Personnel Services
QUALIFICATIONS Certificate with a Speech-Language Pathologist K-12 endorsement as required by State
Law and the State Board of Education. American Speech and Hearing Association
Certification of Clinical Competence is desired. A teaching contract will not be issued until
this credential is on file with the Moscow School District.
DESIRED Previous successful speech and language therapy experience.
