Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in the Healthcare industry. This role is a permanent opportunity and based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves performing account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations, among other duties. You will be a part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment within the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

• Manage general ledger entries, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data.

• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reports.

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for financial analysis.

• Work in compliance with all company policies and regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results, sharing information and skills.

• Continually update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting to ensure competence and compliance with current industry standards.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Working knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated experience in Month End Close procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
