The University of Utah Diagnostic Neuroimaging Laboratory has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow to assist with grant-funded clinical research focused on neurobiological and neurocognitive correlates of psychiatric disorders. Current studies include longitudinal assessment of adolescents (ABCD study) and studies on adults (veteran and non-veteran studies of sex differences in psychiatry symptoms; substance use disorders; and suicide risk and prevention). Responsibilities include acquisition of data including administration of clinical and mood symptoms scales and neurocognitive assessments; data analysis; preparing and presenting results through oral presentations and manuscripts; and assistance with grant writing. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience, public health, statistics, or another field related to human subjects research or mental health.
