Seattle Children’s Hospital Research Manager, Clinical Research in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: We are actively seeking a Clinical Research Manager to join Seattle Children's Research Institute. This position will support Dr. Eric Coon whose research focuses on pediatric high value care and pragmatic clinical trials involving common pediatric conditions that lead to hospitalization. The Research Manager will provide direct oversight of clinical research activities within a national framework to study follow-up care received after a hospital stay. This is an exciting clinical research leadership opportunity to support our mission of providing the best care and cures for patients after hospitalization. In addition, the Research Manager will work side-by-side with the Principal Investigator to oversee existing grant-funded research activities and support new grant applications. For existing projects, the Manager will oversee study regulatory compliance, recruitment, training, and oversight of research coordinators and study budgets. To support new grant applications, this position will identify pertinent funding opportunities and draft/edit sections of grant applications. This position's FTE will be determined by the business need and top candidate, expected to be between 0.6 - 1.0 FTE (24-40 hours per week). Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum five (5) years of research-related experience including at least two (2) years of project/program management. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience. Proven success managing and integrating multiple projects across an organization. Experience in grant writing. Preferred: Master's degree in a related scientific discipline. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $48.91 - $73.36 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $101,732.80 - $152,588.80 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
