Reddaway HR Intern (Full-Time or Part-Time) - Tualatin, OR - Reddaway - Portland in Tualatin, Oregon
FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME
The intern will gain professional experience by assisting with various HR programs and projects. This position will assist the HR Manager in a wide range of projects related to talent management, onboarding/orientation, training and development, organizational development, and other areas in the department. The internship will be 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gain familiarity with the application of HR policies and business processes in a corporate environment in the following areas: Recruiting, Onboarding, Organizational Development, Training, Compensation and Payroll.
Assist the Human Resources department as needed and projects as assigned.
Compile and analyze data from HR activities and make recommendations for changes.
Assist with research projects and company initiatives/events, as requested.

In progress to a degree in Business, Human Resources Management or other related degree preferred
Proven track record in effectively working with others to achieve results
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS* *
- Previous internship in HR or related experience is preferred.
This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
