JOB SUMMARY

Position is responsible for the recruiting process to fill open positions. This position will collaborate with hiring managers to identify desired qualifications of potential candidates. This position will ensure candidates are screened, interviewed and processed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct day-to-day recruiting activities and follow recruiting processes for an assigned region, acting as a resource on all points of the recruitment cycle.

  2. Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified applicants through the use of traditional and non-traditional techniques including social media channels, cold-calling/direct sourcing, networking, job fairs, employment agencies, internet searches, postings, etc.

  3. This position will do phone interview screenings, providing the leading candidates to the hiring manager.

  4. Coordinates and schedules interviews between the manager and the candidates. Provide assistance to managers in understanding the hiring process, interview techniques and selecting candidates.

  5. Create and post all job advertisements on internal and external jobs boards. Make updates to job postings as needed.

  6. Review applications to identify candidates that meet minimum requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor degree in HR or related area

  2. 1 year experience in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring

  3. Experience with MS Office

  4. Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding recruiting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Transportation, manufacturing or logistical/distribution industry experience

  2. Applicant Tracking System experience
