Duties: Responsible for technical sales and marketing input into product development by understanding customer requirements to support Trimble's Geospatial GNSS receiver product portfolio. Work in collaboration with engineering, operations, finance, testing, sales, support, go to market teams, service, order fulfillment, and distribution to develop, market, and support GNSS receiver products. Test products to ensure the quality meets the company's standards and technical requirements. Assist with requirement definition alongside engineering and business plan creation alongside go to market teams for Trimble's Geospatial GNSS products, including product feature specification, product positioning, promotion, distribution and support. Provide sales forecasts for input to Operations build plans as well as technical support for customer issues and inquiries. Keep abreast of trends in industry technology and competitive trends to protect and enhance Trimble's market position. Represent and promote Trimble GNSS at industry trade shows and conferences including preparation and delivery of technical presentations. 20% domestic and international travel required. May telecommute.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or Technical Marketing Professional related occupation.

Position requires: 1) Product development processes and tools such as Agile and JIRA; 2)Market analysis and knowledge of marketing, financial concepts, manufacturing, international sales, and product development techniques; 3) Understanding of the geospatial GNSS applications and advanced GNSS hardware and software solutions including correction services; 4) Contribute to marketing activities in a team-based project environment; 5) Development of the documentation such as manuals, brochures and advertising needed internationally for the success of the product;6) Development and coordination of the tactical product education of the sales force to ensure sales based on features superiority and differentiation as well as other factors identified in the business plan;7) Experience presenting in front of both technical and non-technical audiences; and 8) Familiarity with testing hardware products and full GNSS systems to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability to meet the company's standards and technical requirements Including ability to test products to ISO standards.
